Syndrome in children may be caused by coronavirus.
Children have been diagnosed with symptoms such as abdominal pain and inflammation around the heart. "It's a new illness that we believe may be caused by the coronavirus," says the UK Health Minister.
Portal Forum The UK Health Minister, Matt Hancock, stated in interview on a radio station on Tuesday (28) that he is “very concerned” about a syndrome diagnosed in babies that is possibly related to the coronavirus.
“I am very concerned because early signs reveal that in some cases there is an autoimmune response in the children, which causes significant illness,” said Hancock, revealing that some babies had to be admitted to Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
