US health agency changes guidance on chloroquine use due to lack of studies.

Now, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention only points out that the substances "are under investigation in clinical trials."

Forum Magazine - On Wednesday (8), the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) changed the wording of a text that discusses the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine in patients with the new coronavirus.

The phrase "although dosage and duration of hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of Covid-19 are unknown, some US clinicians have reported it," which was on the "information for clinicians on treatment options for patients with Covid-19" page of the CDC website, has disappeared.
