Doctors and healthcare workers are being hit hard by the coronavirus.

247 - The Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP, the largest public hospital in the country, has already removed 125 employees, including doctors, nurses, technicians and physiotherapists, due to the coronavirus.  

At the Sírio Libanês hospital, 104 employees are on leave and renowned doctors such as gastroenterologist Raul Cutait and infectious disease specialist David Uip have tested positive for COVID-19. Cardiologist Roberto Kalil Filho has presented symptoms.

At Albert Einstein Hospital, 348 doctors and nursing assistants have been diagnosed with the disease, and 13 are hospitalized. Of these, 169 are doctors, nurses, and nursing technicians; 47 have already recovered and returned to work.

At HCor, 32 doctors, nurses, nursing technicians, and physiotherapists were removed from their jobs.
