The Bolsonaro government invested only 31% of the available funds to combat the coronavirus.

A study prepared by PSOL shows that only 31% of the resources allocated to combat Covid-19 were actually used. Of the 15 provisional measures analyzed by the party, the one with the highest utilization rate had only 50% of its budget spent.

Luisa Fragão, Fórum Magazine - PSOL released a study this Thursday (30) that shows the low investment by the Bolsonaro government in measures to combat the coronavirus, even though the money has already been released through provisional measures.

The study shows that only 31% of the resources for combating Covid 19 have been used so far. In total, 15 MPs were analyzed by the party, and the one with the highest utilization had only 50% of its budget spent. The data used refers to the execution up to this Wednesday (29).

One of the Provisional Measures that has progressed the most so far, with a 45% success rate, authorizes a transfer of almost R$ 9,5 billion to the Ministry of Health. The money would have various purposes and includes transfers to states, municipalities, and the Federal District for the purchase of tests, production of medicines, construction of hospital centers, among others.
