247 - The head of Italy's Higher Institute of Health, Silvio Brusaferro, declared this Friday (27) that the number of coronavirus cases in the European country has not yet reached its peak. The information is from the portal G1

The latest data on Covid-19 in Italy shows 80.589 infected and 8.125 deaths, within a population of 60,48 million. Last Thursday (26), the daily count recorded 712 new fatal victims of the disease in the country.

“We didn’t reach the peak and we didn’t go beyond it,” said Brusaferro, who added: “Our behavior will influence how steep the fall will be when it begins.”
