Forum Magazine - BIOCEN (Cuba's National Center for Biopreparations) announced this Sunday (29) that it will increase the production of the antiviral Interferon Alfa 2B, a drug considered the most effective to date for treating patients with covid-19. According to Cuban authorities, the country has received requests from 45 countries, which want to use it in the fight against the pandemic.

This information was given in an interview with a local newspaper. GranmaShe emphasized that "we will have to increase Interferon production this week to meet the increased demand and new orders that may arrive in the coming days, but we will also prioritize ensuring the quality of the product we export, so that it has the effectiveness it has demonstrated in China."
