247 - The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of 8 am this Tuesday morning (16) is 891.896, with 44.148 deaths caused by the disease. The data were obtained through an unprecedented partnership between G1O Globo, Extra, O Estado de S.Paulo, Folha de S.Paulo and UOL.
The consortium announced on Monday (15), at 20 pm, 44.118 deaths caused by Covid-19 and 891.556 confirmed cases of contagion, with 729 fatal victims in 24 hours, according to the most up-to-date data from the state health departments at that time.
