247 - The Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation reported, this Sunday (29), that the teacher and Paralympic athlete Eliane Corrêa died last Saturday (28) in São Paulo due to the coronavirus. She was taken to the hospital by family members, after experiencing shortness of breath, but did not survive.
Eliane was competing on behalf of the Association for Assistance to Disabled Children (AACD). The wake before her burial did not take place because of the quarantine in São Paulo.
