DOHA (Reuters) - Forward Neymar and right-back Danilo will miss Brazil's remaining World Cup group stage matches after suffering injuries in Thursday's 2-0 win over Serbia, a source close to the team told Reuters on Friday.

Brazil leads Group G of the Qatar World Cup and will play without Neymar and Danilo against Switzerland and Cameroon, although the team doctor has only confirmed that they are out of the next game against Switzerland.

"The tests showed a lateral ligament injury in Neymar's right ankle, along with a small bone edema, and a medial ligament injury in Danilo's left ankle," said the national team doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar.

"We can already say that we will not have both players for our next game, but they remain in treatment with the aim of trying to get them back in time for that competition," he added.
