247 - The Qatar Cup starts for Brazil with the duel this Thursday (24), against Serbia, for Group G, at 16 pm (Brasília time).

Of the 26 players selected for the 2022 World Cup, 16 are newcomers. The group of newcomers includes experienced and well-known players in Brazilian football, such as midfielder Éverton Ribeiro (Flamengo) and goalkeeper Weverton (Palmeiras), both with extensive professional experience.

A large part of the squad, however, was discovered by Brazilian teams and left the country soon after turning 18 to play for European clubs, as was the case with Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo (both from Real Madrid) and Fabinho (Liverpool).

In a press conference this Wednesday (23), coach Tite said that the Seleção has no problem dealing with the pressure of being considered a favorite to win the world champion title for the 6th time. "The pressure is inevitable," said the coach.

Brazil has won the World Cup five times, and Tite said it's not his responsibility that Brazil hasn't won the tournament in 20 years.

Tite has not yet revealed the team's lineup for the opening match. But it is considered certain that Vini Jr. and Raphinha will form the attack alongside number 10 Neymar.
