Argentina wins a prize of R$ 223 million for winning the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Most of the prize money will be divided among the players. The total prize money distributed to the national teams in this edition exceeds R$ 2,3 billion.

247 - Argentina will take home more than just the title of three-time champion. The team will receive approximately R$ 223 million from FIFA as a prize for the title, with the majority of that amount going to the players. France, in second place, will take home a prize of R$ 160 million. (Source: [Source not provided]) newspaper The globe.

Third-placed Croatia earned R$143 million in prize money. Morocco, which finished fourth, will receive R$132 million. Teams that reached the quarterfinals will receive R$90 million, those up to the round of 16 R$70 million, and those in the group stage R$48 million.

In total, the amount distributed among the teams exceeds R$ 2,3 billion. This amount is greater than the 2018 World Cup in Russia, when R$ 2,1 billion was awarded in prize money. 

No team leaves the tournament empty-handed. Each federation receives at least R$ 47,7 million in prize money for competing in this year's World Cup, plus an additional R$ 8 million to cover preparation costs for the tournament.
