247 - The Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) and the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI) announced that they will present, during COP30, the Recirculate BrazilThis is a pioneering program focused on circularity and traceability certification in the production chain. The information was released in an official statement by ABDI. Developed in partnership with the Brazilian Association of the Plastics Industry (ABIPLAST) and the Custody Center, the initiative aims to transform sustainability into a competitive advantage, expanding the access of the national industry to increasingly demanding international markets.
Recircula Brasil will be a highlight of the official COP30 program, scheduled for November 10th and 11th, with activities in both the Green Zone and the Blue Zone. According to the organizers, the aim is to reinforce Brazil's image as a leader in circular economy solutions, aligning technological innovation and environmental responsibility.
According to ABDI's president, Ricardo Cappelli, the initiative demonstrates the Brazilian productive sector's capacity to innovate and meet global demands. ABIPLAST's CEO, Paulo Teixeira, emphasizes that the circular economy occupies a central position in the plastics industry's strategies. Both will be available for interviews during the event.
