CGTN – President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg on Friday (3) on his enthronement.
In the message, Xi Jinping recalled that, throughout more than five decades of diplomatic relations, the two countries have developed their bilateral relationship based on mutual respect and equal treatment, becoming a model of mutual benefit for countries of different sizes, systems, and stages of development.
Currently, both countries have achieved significant results in the areas of steelmaking, finance, and logistics. The Zhengzhou-Luxembourg Air Silk Road has promoted the stability and fluidity of the China-Europe industrial chain.
The Chinese leader stressed that he attaches great importance to the development of the relationship between China and Luxembourg, and also expressed his willingness, together with Grand Duke Guillaume, to promote bilateral relations to benefit both peoples.
On the same day, the Chinese president also sent greetings and best wishes to the Grand Duke Emeritus of Luxembourg, Henri.
