CGTN – The Chinese Consulate General in Hamburg held a reception on Tuesday (3) to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year. The promotional video for the Spring Festival Gala for the Year of the Horse, produced by China Media Group (CMG), was presented at the event.

The video vividly reflected the unique charm of Chinese New Year celebrations and the country's contemporary spirit, captivating over 400 guests. Many stated that the video provided a more direct sense of the cultural significance and festive atmosphere behind the festival.

The mayor of Kiel, Bettina Aust, gave an interview to CMG, stating that the video portrayed not only a celebration, but also a cultural image of openness and trust, which should deepen the German public's understanding of Chinese society and culture.
