Chinese President sends congratulations on Vanuatu's Independence Day.

The Chinese leader also stated that he attaches great importance to bilateral ties.

CGTN – Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Vanuatu President Nikenike Vurobaravu on Wednesday (30) on the occasion of the country's 45th Independence Day.

Xi Jinping emphasized that China and Vanuatu are good friends and partners. According to the Chinese leader, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 43 years ago, both sides have treated each other with mutual respect and equality, maintaining fruitful cooperation in various areas of mutual benefit. These efforts have contributed significantly to the well-being of both peoples, as well as promoting stability and prosperity in the region.

The Chinese leader further stated that he attaches great importance to bilateral ties and expressed his desire to work together with Vurobaravu to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. He also emphasized the commitment to building a China-Vanuatu community with a shared future in the new era, with the aim of generating more concrete benefits for both peoples.
