CGTN – Chinese President Xi Jinping exchanged congratulations on Thursday (3) with his Bosnian counterpart, Željka Cvijanović, congratulating each other on the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Xi Jinping pointed out that, over the past three decades, the two sides have developed bilateral relations, deepened political trust on both sides, and achieved fruitful results in concrete cooperation, based on the principles of equal treatment, mutual respect, and mutual benefit, representing a good example of friendly coexistence and joint development between nations with differences in territorial size, history and culture, as well as social systems. The Chinese leader wants to seize this significant moment as a new starting point to elevate bilateral ties to a higher level and benefit both peoples.
Cvijanović expressed her appreciation for the achievements attained by both countries, based on mutual respect and solid friendship over the past 30 years. She hopes to deepen bilateral relations with the Chinese side to achieve shared prosperity.
