Over 40 Italian media outlets announced the premiere of the program, attracting widespread attention from various sectors of society.
CGTN – To mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the special documentary "The Guardian of Heritage," produced by the China Media Group (CMG), began airing on June 25th on more than 30 Italian media platforms, including Alma TV and Lazio TV, and the website of the newspaper Milano Finanza. More than 40 Italian media outlets announced the premiere of the program, attracting widespread attention from various sectors of society.

The documentary recounts President Xi Jinping's stories related to the preservation and development of traditional Chinese culture. Through visits to places where the president worked, as well as interviews with people who knew him, the program uses real and moving examples to show an international audience China's efforts in protecting its cultural heritage.

The event "Dialogue of Civilizations in Images — Year of Exhibition of Audiovisual Works by the CMG in Italy" will also be inaugurated on the same day. Several audiovisual productions by the CMG will be successively shown on major Italian media outlets, offering the Italian public a multifaceted and vibrant image of China.
