Global dialogue organized by CMG takes place in Cuba.

CGTN – The Havana edition of the Global Dialogue “China in Spring: China and the World, Shared Opportunities” was held on the 19th in Havana, the Cuban capital.
Organized by the China Media Group (CMG), the event was attended by more than one hundred representatives from the political, business, academic and media sectors of Cuba, including Yudi Rodríguez, a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.
On that occasion, Shen Haixiong, vice director of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the CMG, gave a speech via video. The Chinese ambassador to Cuba, Hua Xin, spoke in person at the event.
Shen Haixiong highlighted that Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of continuously expanding institutional openness and broadening opportunities for international cooperation. He reaffirmed that the CMG is willing to leverage its advantages in world-class media integration and technological innovation to share, with friends around the world, the development opportunities afforded by Chinese modernization.

Hua Xin stated that this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba, a period in which bilateral ties reached their historical peak. The two countries mutually support their core interests and advance the socialist cause together. China is willing to work with Cuba to build a community with a shared future, generating more benefits for the peoples of both countries and contributing to world peace and development.
Participants agreed that the Chinese economy, with its resilience and dynamism, brings stability to global development. They also highlighted China's advances in technological innovation and the enormous potential for cooperation with Cuba and Latin America in science and technology.
