Zanin confronts the suspect Moro: "a biased judge has no right to speak"

The former judge intended to debate with Lula, who leads in all the polls. But for Zanin, the former president should not debate with a suspect who leaves the judiciary with a tarnished reputation.

247 - Lawyer Cristiano Zanin Martins, who defends former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, confronted former biased judge Sérgio Moro this Friday (14), who is struggling in the polls in his presidential campaign and is trying to polarize with Lula.

According to Zanin, the illegality of Moro's actions in the proceedings against Lula has already been settled by the highest court in the country, the Supreme Federal Court. "The fact that Sérgio Moro still believes he was engaged in a battle with President Lula's defense already demonstrates that he was wrong all along: in his stance, his jurisdiction, and his understanding of the law. The Supreme Federal Court has already ended this debate: a biased judge has no right to speak," he stated.

Sergio Moro avoided yet another debate. Challenged by the Prerogatives GroupAt a gathering of legal experts from various fields of law for a public debate, the suspect said he "doesn't want to participate" in the "club."

O Prerrô vehemently questioned the former judge's actions at the head of Lava Jato, for which he was declared biased and suspect in the proceedings against former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), and opposes his presidential candidacy.

The former judge, now under suspicion, also tried to polarize the debate with Lula, the clear leader in opinion polls. Moro doesn't even mobilize double digits. "I see that the club of lawyers for impunity wants to debate. Excuse me, but this is a club I don't want to participate in. But I'll debate with your boss, Lula, anytime, about the Mensalão and Petrolão scandals," Moro wrote on Twitter. Moro also avoided debates with the PDT presidential candidate, Ciro Gomes. At the time, internet users called him "pathetic" and a coward.
