Olympic lap concludes ceremony at Arena Condá

The collective wake for the Chapecoense players concluded with a lap of honor around the Arena Condá stadium in Chapecó, performed by the families of the 50 victims of the plane crash that killed 71 people, including players, journalists, and crew members. The lap of honor was accompanied by the Chapecoense national anthem while the crowd chanted "We are champions!" FIFA President Gianni Infantino attended the ceremony and offered his condolences to the families. Pope Francis also sent a message of support to the families of the victims.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who attended the ceremony, offered his condolences to the families and said that "this is a time for reflection and unity, not for speeches or words. Because there are no words that can comfort someone who has lost a loved one in such a tragic way."
