I just got back from the demonstration on Paulista Avenue: it was the most beautiful thing to see, and even better to be a part of!
Carlos Sampaio
We are among those millions of Brazilians who can no longer tolerate this corrupt and lying government! #carlossampaio #comeouttothestreets #OutWithDilma
José Anibal
Hundreds of thousands of people protest against the Dilma government on Paulista Avenue!
The Military Police of the State of São Paulo reports 580 protesters in the city of São Paulo alone.

Marcus Pestana
I've never seen PT supporters so nervous and cornered! Today Brazil will show, in a democratic and peaceful way, that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Fallen Ronaldo
All set. On my way to Paulista Avenue. I'm going to take advantage of being in São Paulo for post-operative checkups to visit my children and friends who live here. Alongside my wife Gracinha, we're going to exercise our citizenship! Enough of corruption. Enough of the PT! What a great day!!!
Marconi Perillo
The demonstrations currently taking place in Goiás and throughout Brazil are very expressive, forceful, and strong, but thankfully democratic and peaceful. It's clear that there's a climate of indignation and impatience among Brazilians regarding the ethical and moral crisis shaking our country, with repercussions for the economy and the credibility of bad leaders. An urgent response is needed, but I still believe that dialogue, not rupture, is the best path forward at this time. Congratulations to everyone in the streets for their exemplary behavior and commitment to our Brazil – a country that is greater than any crisis.
ACM Neto
Brazil demonstrates the strength of its people. The presence of citizens in the streets today shows that our country lives in full democracy.
People took to the streets to demonstrate that they are not satisfied with the way the country is being run.
Given this, we hope that those in power will have the humility to listen to the people and transform our people's agenda into public policies.
It's time to put partisan interests aside and prioritize the message from society.
