247 – Three men and three women were caught by the Federal Police with 200 kilos of marijuana at the so-called Friendship Bridge, on the border between Brazil and Paraguay. Upon entering Brazil, the traffickers, who were traveling in three cars, even celebrated and mocked the police officers. “Very easy,” said one of the traffickers.
However, the gang's joy didn't last long. The traffickers were arrested in a raid conducted by the Federal Highway Police in Laranjeiras do Sul, Paraná. In addition to the 200 kilos of marijuana, the police seized a camera containing images recorded by the traffickers themselves.
As reported by TV Globo, police officer Silvino Migliorini stated, the traffickers managed to pass through three checkpoints because they diverted through rural roads. "In this situation, we realize that the traffickers are having a stroll, enjoying themselves, and even mocking public safety. He who laughs last laughs best, and in this case, 300 km from the border, we laughed last and we laughed best," he stated.
