Bricklayer: Middle class begins to live in fear that their neighbor has several guns.

In an article published in Tijolaço, journalist Fernando Brito states that the decree authorizing gun ownership signed by Jair Bolsonaro is merely a prelude "to granting widespread access to weapons to the population" and "cannot be judged solely on a political level"; for him, the measure "is a civilizational setback that will cost us many lives and many years to reverse."

Fernando Brito (brick) - The decree to liberalize gun ownership – which, according to Bolsonaro, is just an appetizer, "only the first step," towards granting widespread access to weapons to the population – cannot be judged solely from a political standpoint.

It is a civilizational setback that will cost us many lives and many years to reverse.

If it weren't for that, I would say it was Jair Bolsonaro's inaugural political defeat.

It is something that, even before the predicted tragedies it will produce, has only found unconditional support among its most radical followers.

The middle class, always so fierce in theory, now lives in fear that their next-door neighbor might have one, two, or several guns.

Or the cashier at the bakery. Or the owner of the greengrocer's, whom you've been calling a thief for charging 10 reais per kilo of tomatoes. Or the inspector at your children's school.

The "cultured" neoliberals didn't have the guts to defend it, and Sérgio Moro himself made a point of staying in the shadows during the announcement of the "great achievement," even though he is now responsible for Public Security.

The comparison of the dangers posed by a firearm to the risks of a blender, made by the ever-energetic Ônyx Lorenzoni, is an insult to the intelligence of a complete ass.

The winners are ashamed.

Only the most savagely fascist core celebrates, and even then, it's questionable.
