"Terrorism in Brasilia is not an isolated act, and Brazil is at serious risk," says Florestan Fernandes Júnior.

"This guy is not alone. There are many like him, many," said journalist Florestan Fernandes Júnior, regarding the arrest of Bolsonaro supporter and terrorist George Sousa.

"Terrorism in Brasilia is not an isolated act, and Brazil is at serious risk," says Florestan Fernandes Júnior.

247 - Journalist Florestan Fernandes Júnior said, during his participation in the Bom Dia 247 program this Sunday (25), that the arrest of Bolsonaro supporter and terrorist George Washington De Oliveira Sousa, 54, who tried to detonate a bomb in the area of Brasília International Airport, this Saturday (24), was not an isolated act and the country is at risk, due to the advance of Bolsonarism and the extreme right in Brazil.

“This is not an isolated act, this is an orchestrated act. Bolsonaro's plan was, in fact, to stage a coup d'état in Brazil, but one that did not involve the Armed Forces. This was clear, but in these four years of government he has established several far-right, terrorist cells, and from January onwards the country will have to live with this armed and terrorist opposition,” he stated.

"It is fundamental, if we want to save the country from a far-right dictatorship, to confront them in important battles such as communication, culture, education, and especially the military battle to arrest these people. We need extremely engaged police officers because the country is at risk. This individual is not alone. There are many like him, many, and they will certainly wreak havoc on the country. The Lula government will have to act quickly," he concluded.
