An article from The Intercept states that while the world repudiated the "zero tolerance policy against illegal immigration" implemented by the US government under Donald Trump, the Michel Temer government chose silence; "It's as if he wore the same coat as Melania Trump, used during a visit to children separated from their parents, with the words 'I really don't care. Do you?'"
