247 - Given the negative repercussions in relation to pedophile statement which he gave during an interview on a podcast on Friday (14), Jair Bolsonaro (PL) recorded a video this Tuesday (18) to apologize to the Venezuelan girls he referred to on that occasion.
In the podcast, he told a story about when he met, in a community on the outskirts of the Federal District, Venezuelan girls of 14 or 15 years old, "pretty," "well-dressed," with whom "painted a mood"According to Bolsonaro, the young women were sex workers, which was not true.
Bolsonaro apologized for the "embarrassment" caused to Venezuelan women, but stated that his words were taken out of context by "leftist activists."
In the video, Bolsonaro was accompanied by the First Lady, Michelle Bolsonaro, and the supposed Venezuelan ambassador, Maria Tereza. However, she does not officially represent the Venezuelan government, as she was appointed by the self-proclaimed president Juan Guaidó, who lacks legitimacy.
