247 - In an interview on the program "Bom dia, Ministra" this Tuesday (25), the Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, defended the need to highlight what she called "real Brazil", emphasizing the positive changes that are already perceived in the country.

During the conversation, Tebet stated: “We need to show the real Brazil, and the real Brazil is the Brazil that is succeeding. I know Brazil's potential, and it's already succeeding. Just compare how we were a few years ago and how we are today. Brazil not only has everything to succeed, but it will succeed.”

The minister confirmed that the Union's budget for 2025 has already been approved by the National Congress, reaching a total of R$ 5,8 trillion. Of this amount, expenses subject to the fiscal framework total R$ 2,2 trillion, with a projected fiscal surplus of around R$ 15 billion. She guaranteed that priority social programs, such as Bolsa Família, will not be affected by any cuts or vetoes. "Not a single cent will be missing for Bolsa Família," she emphasized.

Tebet also highlighted one of the most emblematic projects of the Lula government: the South American Integration Routes. These routes aim to boost trade with neighboring countries and facilitate Brazilian access to Asian markets through road infrastructure.

“This will probably be the biggest achievement of President Lula's government. The South American Integration Routes have projects underway in the PAC (Growth Acceleration Program). There are more than 170, but the essential ones are just over 30. We will be able to inaugurate one leg of each of the five routes by the end of 2026, integrating Brazil with South America,” the minister explained.
