These statements come amid a cabinet reshuffle and the arrival of Gleisi Hoffmann at the Secretariat of Institutional Relations.

247 - Planning Minister Simone Tebet stated that Finance Minister Fernando Haddad has faced resistance within his own party. In an interview with journalist Miriam Leitão of GloboNews, Tebet described Haddad as "a true hero" in this scenario and emphasized that the economic team has "consistency."

"We're not going to invent subsidies, we're not going to recreate past formulas that didn't work. We're not going to do that," he said.

Tebet's statements come amid a cabinet reshuffle and the arrival of Gleisi Hoffmann to the Secretariat of Institutional Relations. The former president of the Workers' Party has already publicly criticized the economic policy advocated by Haddad.

With Gleisi in the government, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) has intensified public expressions of support for the head of the Finance Ministry. This week alone, the head of the Executive branch praised the minister on two occasions, even stating that Haddad is "responsible for the positive things happening in the country."

Despite some disagreements, Tebet believes that Gleisi's entry into the government could strengthen support for the Finance Ministry team's economic proposals, especially in advancing microeconomic agendas in Congress.
