TV 247 - The Léo ao Quadrado program this Monday (13) highlighted, among the main political topics, the importance of convincing progressive sectors that Lula supports former São Paulo mayor Fernando Haddad (PT) because he sees him as a trustworthy name. "We need to bring him closer to the political activists," emphasizes presenter Leonardo Stoppa.
He warns that the right wing will create fake news to distance Lula's voters from Haddad, claiming that the former mayor is right-wing. "It is necessary to debunk the falsehoods spread about him, emphasizing his long relationship with the PT," Stoppa points out.
"Haddad was not only the mayor of São Paulo, but, as Minister of Education in Lula's government, he was fundamental in the projects that democratized access to education," he recalls.
Concluding his analysis regarding the Workers' Party member, Stoppa believes that "falling for jokes against Haddad" is "falling for the traps set by the PSDB."
