247 - The Supreme Federal Court (STF) decided to reinforce security at its headquarters in Brasília this Tuesday (29), the date on which former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) participates in a motorcycle rally with supporters. The measure includes the action of agents from the Judicial Police and the support of the Military Police of the Federal District. The information is from Folha de S. Paul.

Security measures were defined at a meeting held this Monday (28), at the DF Public Security Secretariat, with the participation of several agencies. Praça dos Três Poderes will continue to have controlled access and be surrounded by fences, under the surveillance of the Military Police.

Although there is no relevant risk assessment for the Supreme Court, since the motorcycle parade route does not include the Esplanade of Ministries nor is it expected to pass near the court, the Court has chosen to adopt security measures.

The Supreme Court has reinforced security measures following recent incidents. The growth of virtual attacks and the demonstration led by Congressman Hélio Lopes (PL-RJ), last Friday (25), raised concerns about the possibility of new protests near the court headquarters.
