Death toll rises to 5 on oil platform ship.
Four people are still missing, according to BW Offshore, the company that leases the oil platform to Petrobras; ten were injured in yesterday's explosion and taken to two hospitals in the metropolitan region of Vitória, Espírito Santo; two are in serious condition; on Wednesday, the company had reported that three people had died.

The death toll from the explosion on the Cidade de São Mateus oil platform has risen to five. According to the company BW Offshore, three deaths had already been confirmed yesterday (11) and two bodies were found later by the Fire Department.
Four people are still missing. Ten were injured in the explosion and taken to two hospitals in the greater Vitória area. Two of them, according to BW Offshore, are in serious condition.
The accident occurred at 12:50 pm yesterday on the platform, according to the National Petroleum Agency (ANP). There was an explosion in the pump room. According to the ANP, the fire was brought under control after the accident and the platform stabilized. There was no oil spill.
The platform, operated by BW Offshore on behalf of Petrobras, has been active since June 2009 in the Camarupim and Camarupim Norte fields in the Espírito Santo Basin.
