Death toll in Brumadinho rises to 11.

According to data from the Minas Gerais Fire Department, the death toll from the Brumadinho dam disaster has reached 11; according to the data, 166 Vale employees and 130 outsourced workers are missing; of the 176 people found alive, 23 are hospitalized.

Brazil Agency - The Minas Gerais Fire Department has updated the number of bodies recovered to 11 following the collapse of the Vale mining company's tailings dam in Brumadinho. According to the department, a bus carrying company employees has been located, but none of the occupants survived.

"Because it is a difficult-to-access location and we need specialized machinery to reach the structure and remove the victims, we have not yet finalized the number of deaths. But this number of deaths is expected to rise," the Fire Department reported.

According to the data, 166 Vale employees and 130 contractors are missing. Of the 176 people found alive, 23 are hospitalized.
