247 - Former President Lula (PT), in an interview with Rádio Liberal FM, from Pará, this Friday (28) commented on the decision of the 12th Federal Court of Brasília that the Guarujá triplex case is closed. against him.

Lula stated that the process was a "lie" promoted by his "tormentors," referring to the biased former judge Sergio Moro (Podemos) and the former prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos). "Lies were told against me, yesterday the Justice system definitively killed this process. I always believed that the truth would come to light."

"From Dilma's coup to my imprisonment, it was all planned. It was necessary to remove Lula from the presidential race because if there's a presidential election, Lula will win. This scheme, this collusion, this spurious scheme orchestrated by a part of the Public Prosecutor's Office, plus the judge, plus the Federal Police, plus the press, caused me to be vilified in the media for a long time like no one else has ever been in history. Because I always believed in the truth and I think that whoever has faith and a clear conscience will always win, today I am in a very calm position, seeing the truth emerge every day, every hour, with every move. In other words, those who were heroes are becoming villains, and those who were villains are becoming heroes," he added.

Asked about the electoral landscape, Lula said that more time is needed to make better assessments, given that regional and national alliances are not yet defined. "We'll have to be a little more patient to see how the political landscape unfolds so that we can determine who will truly be in the running for the election."

The Workers' Party member stated that the people "will have a chance to say what kind of Brazil they want" in 2022 and that the anti-political discourse cannot be repeated.
