The week begins with sunshine across much of the country and heavy rain showers in parts of the South and North, according to forecasts from the Center for Weather Forecasting and Climate Studies (CPTEC).
On Monday, locally heavy rain is expected between northern and northeastern Rio Grande do Sul and southern Paraná, due to areas of instability.
Along the coast between Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte, the weather will be unstable due to humidity coming from the sea. In the Northern Region, locally heavy rain is possible in Amazonas, northern Rondônia, Acre, and Roraima, due to the heat and high humidity.
In northern Pará and Amapá, there should be brief afternoon showers. Dry weather with no rain is expected in the interior of Brazil, with low humidity from northern São Paulo to southeastern Pará and western Northeast Region, as well as eastern Mato Grosso; in this large area, some locations should have air humidity below 20%.
