Six young people are killed in a massacre in Pará.
They all belonged to the same family; only one girl survived.
Six members of the same family were murdered around 4:30 am this Saturday, the 27th, in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, in Santa Isabel do Pará, in the northeastern region of Pará. A teenager was injured and hospitalized, and three other people – including a child – were spared.
According to witnesses, five hooded men allegedly broke into the house where the victims were located from the back and began shooting. The Civil Police believe it was an execution, as nothing was stolen from the scene.
Ana Maria Moraes, 28 years old, Francisco Moraes, 20 years old, Emerson Moraes, 18 years old, a 16-year-old girl and her 18-year-old partner, and a 17-year-old boy are the fatal victims. Nildene Cristiane Moraes, 18 years old, managed to escape, but was hospitalized with injuries. The survivors of the massacre were giving statements to Detective Silvia Tavares, of the Homicide Division of the Civil Police.
