Saud recorded audio that compromises Joesley, says Noblat.
Journalist Ricardo Noblat stated this Friday, the 8th, that the director of institutional relations for the JBS group, Ricardo Saud, deliberately recorded a conversation with businessman Joesley Batista, which could cost him and executives of his company the benefits of their plea bargain and even their freedom; "Saud slipped the recording among documents recently sent to prosecutor Rodrigo Janot. It wasn't a drunken conversation either. The only one drunk was Joesley, who didn't know he was being recorded. For most of the 4 hours of recording, Saud spoke very little so as not to compromise himself. Since the recording was made in mid-March, relations between Saud and Joesley have deteriorated," says Noblat.
247 - Journalist Ricardo Noblat stated this Friday, the 8th, that the director of institutional relations for the JBS group, Ricardo Saud, deliberately recorded the conversation with businessman Joesley Batista, which could cost him and executives of his company the loss of the benefits of the plea bargain and even their freedom.
"Saud slipped the recording among documents recently sent to prosecutor Rodrigo Janot. It wasn't a drunken conversation either. The only one who was drunk was Joesley, who didn't know he was being recorded. For most of the four hours of recording, Saud said very little so as not to incriminate himself. Since the recording was made in mid-March, relations between Saud and Joesley have deteriorated," says Noblat.
According to the columnist for Globo, Saud recorded Joesley and now hopes not to be punished because he said nothing serious during the conversation, which was almost a monologue from his boss.
"It was Joesley, not him, who released a statement apologizing to those affected by what he said – among others, three or four ministers of the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The Federal Police are searching for information about a flight on Joesley's private jet to Miami that allegedly provided politicians with the unusual experience of an in-flight orgy. At least one senator from the Northeast was on board, but, according to a friend, he refused to participate in the revelry," says the journalist.
