247, with Agência Estado - The sun is shining today in the city of São Paulo, raising temperatures. The high could reach 29ºC in the afternoon, and there is no rain forecast. According to the Emergency Management Center (CGE), at 6:50 am, Congonhas Airport, in the south zone, and Campo de Marte Airport, in the north zone, registered temperatures of 20ºC and 17ºC, respectively.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology, the maximum temperature in the city yesterday afternoon was 28,6 degrees Celsius, at the Mirante de Santana station in the northern part of São Paulo. This is the highest temperature recorded this winter so far, and represents the hottest afternoon in almost three months. The last time it was this hot was on April 23rd, when the maximum reached 29,8 degrees Celsius.
A new cold front is moving through the Southern Region of Brazil and is expected to reach São Paulo tomorrow. The system will cause increased cloud cover, light rain, a change in wind direction, and a drop in temperatures. Tomorrow, the high will not exceed 20ºC, and rain may begin in the morning. In addition, relative humidity levels will rise again, favoring the dispersion of pollutants over the capital and the Greater São Paulo region.
A cold front will move inland across the country, bringing cloudy weather with heavy showers between northern Rio Grande do Sul and western Mato Grosso do Sul. In the eastern part of the Southern Region, the day will be cloudy with rain at any time.

According to the Center for Weather Forecasting and Climate Studies (CPTEC), in the northern part of the country there will be variable cloudiness and isolated showers. In the interior of the Northeast, the sun will appear among variable cloudiness. In western Rio Grande do Sul there will be rain in the morning, improving throughout the day. In other areas of Brazil, the sun will predominate. The relative humidity will be low in much of the interior of the country.
