The blood in goalkeeper Bruno's car belonged to Eliza.
Macarro, a friend of the former Flamengo goalkeeper, confirmed the information to Deputy Durval Angelo, of the Human Rights Commission of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais.
Luiz Henrique Romão, known as Macarrão, a friend of goalkeeper Bruno de Souza, who is suspected of killing Eliza Samudio, said yesterday that the blood found in the soccer player's car is indeed Eliza's.
The inmate made the statement during an interview for the Assembleia television channel, conducted by the president of the Human Rights Commission of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, Deputy Durval Ângelo (PT). The deputy visited prisoners in Annex I of the Nelson Hungria Penitentiary, in Contagem, to find out if there is differential treatment between the prison's pavilions.
During the visit, Macarrão spoke about the disappearance of Bruno's ex-girlfriend and claimed his innocence. In the interview, he said that the blood in the soccer player's car was Eliza Samudio's. The young woman disappeared in June 2010 while trying to prove in court that Bruno is the father of her child. Bruno was arrested on July 8 of that year, accused of kidnapping and murdering Eliza. Macarrão has also been detained since then.
