Rui Falcão asks the Attorney General's Office to investigate whether Moro worked for or was only paid by Alvarez & Marsal.

After Moro revealed he received R$ 3,5 million from the company that profited from Lava Jato, Falcão wants an investigation into illicit activities in the relationship between the former judge and A&M.

247 - Federal deputy Rui Falcão (PT-SP) filed a request this Thursday (3) with the Attorney General's Office (PGR) for an investigation against former judge Sergio Moro (Podemos), declared biased by the Supreme Federal Court (STF), for possible illegal acts in his relationship with the consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal.

Alvarez & Marsal is an American consulting firm that profited by providing services to companies bankrupted by Lava Jato, an operation led by Moro in collusion with prosecutors from Curitiba.

After Moro revealed his salary at the company - R$ 3,5 million in one year - Falcão wants an investigation into what services Moro actually provided in the consulting work. For federal deputy Rogério Correia (PT-MG), the amounts received by Moro These constitute bribes, not wages.

Falcão is asking the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras, to send official letters to the Federal Revenue Service (SRF) and the Council for the Control of Financial Activities (Coaf) requesting information on suspicious activities involving amounts or resources received directly or indirectly related to Lava Jato.

The petition is signed by the lawyers Marco Aurélio de Carvalho, Fernando Hideo Lacerda, Fabiano Silva dos Santos, Lenio Streck, Gisele Cittadino, Carol Proner, Sheila Carvalho, Juvelino Strozake, and Alessandra Camarano Martins.
