Temer government – usurper, unpopular and dishonest.

The protests against the impeachment, attended by President Dilma Rousseff, rekindled the hopes of the activists mobilized against the coup. With broad participation from young people, women, and intellectuals, the demonstrations in defense of democracy changed the climate in the country, and in the Northeast, well over half the population rejects the impeachment and rejects the usurper president by a percentage exceeding two-thirds.

Also contributing to strengthening the possibility of blocking the coup is the succession of scandals and corruption allegations involving members of the top echelon of the illegitimate government, including three ministers who have already been removed from office.

The decline in support for the coup plotters is also due to the unpopular measures, whose hasty implementation reveals the need to quickly pay the price for the support of big capital. The week's news included a statement from a minister under investigation, who advocated for the end of the Consolidation of Labor Laws and spread his intention to quickly vote on the outsourcing bill.

Interested in ending Operation Lava Jato, not because of repeated violations of the rule of law, but to avoid being judged for their wrongdoing, members of the interim government are pressuring senators to vote for impeachment in August.

However, some of them are inclined to vote against Michel Temer, either because they disagree with keeping an honorable and honest president out of office, or because they conclude that the country will enter an uncontrollable institutional crisis.

Our task is to maintain the mobilizations, reinforce the initiatives of the Fronts, call on workers to fight against the revocation of their rights and, at the same time, reorganize our campaign for the municipal elections.

No to the Coup!
Out with Temer!
Not one right less!
