247 - The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Rosa Weber, said this Tuesday (18) that the episode of January 8, when democracy was attacked by terrorist acts by Bolsonaro supporters, “will never be forgotten”.
The minister described the date as “Day of Infamy” and announced that the entire STF building has already been rebuilt.
“On April 18, 2023, it will be exactly one hundred days since January 8 – the Day of Infamy – when thousands of criminals, driven by hatred and irrationality, attacked the facilities of the Three Branches of Government with extreme violence,” said the minister.
Weber also mentioned the beginning of the votes that could make those accused by the Attorney General's Office defendants, reports the Metropolis. The trial of 100 of the 1.390 people accused began this Tuesday (18), in a virtual plenary session. Alexandre de Moraes, the case's rapporteur, and Dias Toffoli have voted so far, both in favor of the conviction.
