"It has to be a decision for the couple," he stated. The journalist then asked if the politician had ever been in a situation that required such a decision.
"Yes. I passed it on to my partner. And her decision was to keep it. It's right there," the president replied, pointing to a photo of Jair Renan, the son he had with Ana Cristina Valle. At the time, the president's fourth son was a baby.
"Besides defending censorship, torture, and the death penalty, he proposed the execution of then-President Fernando Henrique Cardoso," the journalist recalls.
