The likelihood of this arrangement happening is "enormous," according to the party's spokesperson, former Senator Heloísa Helena.
Marina Silva was reluctant to give up her electoral domicile in Acre, but was convinced by allies that she would have a more relevant institutional role if she won the mandate in São Paulo, the country's largest electoral college.
