How much is a notable person worth?

"The notorious swindler Chief of Staff had no shame in showing how the cabinet of notables was formed. A kind of auction. Who will bid the most for this cabinet? How many votes? Loyalty can be bought," writes columnist Rogério Cerqueira Leite on his blog.

It was Serra who, recently invited to join the current government, announced: "it will be a government of notables." Obviously, he too is a notable figure, the greatest sellout of foreign interests in Brazil.

And now the Chief of Staff publicly confesses that he offered the Ministry of Health to Maluf's PP party for all the party's votes, and that the party would have to nominate a notable figure. And so it was. The party nominated a mediocre notable figure.

The notorious swindler, the Chief of Staff, had no shame in showing how the cabinet of notables was formed. A sort of auction. Who will bid the most for this cabinet? How many votes? Loyalty can be bought.

A Ministry's value is assessed by its budget. Each billion is worth half a vote. Therefore, the Ministry of Health, with a budget of over 100 billion, was sold for 50 guaranteed votes. Isn't that great?

The confession of the notorious swindler also reveals the notableness of some of his notable colleagues. Thus, Jucá would be a notable pimp, Geddel a notable blackmailer, and the most recent member of this true academy of notables, Moreira Franco, a notable trickster.

Moreover, this issue of notability is contagious, because, lo and behold, the country's incorruptible Supreme Court is about to incorporate a notorious plagiarist.
