The Workers' Party (PT) is preparing a big festival to celebrate the party's 42nd anniversary in February.

However, the event's realization depends on the pandemic situation in Brazil, which is once again causing increasing concern.

247 - The Workers' Party (PT) plans to hold a large festival in February of this year to celebrate the party's 42nd anniversary, according to Igor Gadelha. Metropolis.

The idea is to organize the event like those in other countries, such as Portugal and Argentina, where the left holds large rallies in a festival format. The PT (Workers' Party) even wants the participation of foreign political leaders, as well as musicians sympathetic to the party.

The festival is scheduled to take place between February 10th and 12th in Belo Horizonte. However, nothing is set in stone. The event may also be held in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, or Bahia, a state governed by Rui Costa (PT).

However, the Covid-19 pandemic may prevent the event, as the disease is spreading again with greater intensity due to the dissemination of the omicron variant.

During the festival, according to plans, former president Lula (PT) would confirm his candidacy for the Palácio do Planalto, but another event would be held in March to officially launch it.
