247 - The DEM party commissioned a survey to gauge Brazilians' sentiment towards the country's political parties. While negative responses were expected, the level of rejection towards these groups was surprising. The party itself was rejected by approximately 60% of those surveyed.

Leaders of the DEM party were surprised by the ill will towards the PSDB and PMDB parties. Rejection of both parties is around 75%, while approval is around 13%.

The research was commissioned for what party leaders call a "relaunch" of the DEM party, with a name change and the entry of new members into the group.
