The first sentences in the investigation, which is looking into corruption practices in Petrobras contracts, will begin to be issued in June, in five criminal cases, according to a report in Estadão this Sunday.

According to investigators, the construction company executives, defendants in the case, have little chance of escaping conviction for the crimes of active corruption and money laundering in the first instance.
The Federal Court of Paraná will begin, starting this week, to interrogate the 25 directors and employees of six construction companies: Camargo Corrêa, Engevix, Galvão Engenharia, Mendes Júnior, OAS, and UTC. In total, 16 companies are identified as members of the cartel that controlled the contracting of services at the state-owned oil company.
