"We intend to resume the debate on tax reform," says Randolfe, leader of the Lula government in Congress.

The senator argued that the diversity existing in different regions of the country should be taken into account, with a view to a fairer reform.

247 - Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), the future leader of the Lula government in the National Congress, stated, in an interview with CNN this Saturday (31)The Workers' Party administration intends to bring discussions about tax reform back to the legislative agenda.

"We intend to resume the debate on tax reform in the National Congress," Randolfe stated.

The senator argued that the diversity existing in different regions of the country must be taken into account when considering a fairer reform: "Brazil cannot be measured by the same yardstick. A tax reform, in fact, has to measure this regional diversity and has to respect this diversity."
