Prerogatives: Moro should thank Lula and Dino for protecting his life.
Legal expert Marco Aurélio de Carvalho also stated that any attempt to politically exploit the facts is "the result of bad character and mere opportunism."
247 - Lawyer Marco Aurélio de Carvalho, coordinator of the Prerogatives Group, stated this Wednesday (22) that Senator and former judge Sergio Moro needs to thank the Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva government for the Federal Police operation that thwarted plans to attack authorities, including the former judge under suspicion.
"That's the irony. Moro should thank President Lula and Minister Flávio Dino [of Justice] for the measures taken to safeguard his life and that of his family," said Carvalho.

The legal expert also rejected the association made by Moro and far-right politicians between the Federal Police operation and the president's statement to TV 247, when he said that during the time he was unjustly imprisoned, he only thought about how to "screw over" the judge responsible for his arrest.
"The government has nothing to do with gang warfare. Any attempt to politically exploit the facts is the result of bad faith and mere opportunism," stated Marco Aurélio de Carvalho.
