'Why doesn't Dodge request an investigation against Moraes and Gilmar?'
"Raquel Dodge requested an investigation against Rogério Favreto for his decision to release Lula, alleging that it was motivated by 'previous ties with PT governments.' Absurd! Incidentally, she doesn't do the same with Alexandre de Moraes and Gilmar Mendes for their ties with PSDB governments," said Guilherme Boulos, presidential candidate for PSOL.
247 - The PSOL pre-candidate for the presidency of the Republic, Guilherme Boulos, criticized the decision of the Attorney General of the Republic, Raquel Dodge, to present to the Superior Court an inquiry against Judge Rogério Favreto, who ordered the release of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva last Sunday (8), when he was on duty at the Regional Federal Court of the Fourth Region (TRF4), based in Porto Alegre.
"Raquel Dodge requested an investigation against Rogério Favreto for his decision to release Lula, alleging that it was motivated by 'previous ties with PT governments.' Absurd! Incidentally, she doesn't do the same with Alexandre de Moraes and Gilmar Mendes for their ties with PSDB governments," the presidential candidate wrote on his Twitter account.
Gilmar is criticized by opponents of the current government for his close ties to members of the PSDB party. In May, the Supreme Court Justice even ordered the release of Paulo Vieira de Souza, known as Paulo Preto, the former director of Dersa (the company responsible for roadworks in São Paulo state), an operator for the PSDB. The former director is accused of embezzling R$ 7,7 million from Dersa between 2009 and 2011 (during the governments of José Serra and Geraldo Alckmin).
In turn, Alexandre Moraes served as Minister of Justice for the PSDB party in Michel Temer's government, who nominated him for the position on the Supreme Federal Court.
